Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. is seeking an Account Officer to promote and sell salary loan products to employees of DepEd and other accredited institutions in the Philippines. You will identify potential loan applicants, guide them through the application process, and ensure products meet client needs.

The role requires maintaining strong client relationships and collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth loan processing, with field duties across schools and related institutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job.
• Sales experience in selling consumer loans and other bank products.
• At least two years of experience in customer service within financial or lending institutions.
• Familiarity with Salary Loan products.
• Willingness to do fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote and market salary loan products, highlighting benefits.
• Generate quality Salary Loan accounts and meet sales quota for releases and portfolio.
• Identify and generate new leads, focusing on eligible clients and institutions.
• Establish relationships with School Principals, Teachers and Employees.
• Work with collections team to manage delinquent accounts.
• Prepare and submit regular sales calls and reports.
• Cross-sell other bank products.

The Account Officer is responsible for promoting and selling salary loan products to the employees of DepEd and other accredited institutions. • Generate quality Salary Loan accounts and ensuring that sales quota is met for releases and loan portfolio.
• Identify and generate new leads, focusing on eligible clients, and identify potential institutions and clients that can be tapped for production related activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
• With sales experience in selling consumer loan and other bank products
• With at least two (2) years of experience in any field such as customer service of any financial or lending institutions.
