Job Summary (Salary Negotiable)
The Account Manager will work closely with the CEO to oversee client accounts, manage marketing and event projects, and contribute to the overall growth of the company. This role involves coordinating with internal teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has solid experience in account or project management within the marketing, events, or advertising industry, is proactive in solving problems, and can handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Support & Relationship Management
- Support the CEO in managing key client accounts.
- Help oversee budgets, timelines, deliverables, and creative approvals as assigned.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients while building strong relationships.
- Be proactive in identifying new opportunities or potential projects with existing clients.
2. Team Support & Coordination
- Assist in recruiting and training new Account Servicing team members as needed.
- Coordinate with part-time or contract creatives and project managers.
- Support the development of basic systems for efficient project tracking and internal communication.
- Source suppliers or contractors to complete project requirements.
3. Project & Campaign Management
- Oversee assigned campaigns from briefing to execution and completion.
- Coordinate with internal teams (events, creatives, production, media) to keep projects on track.
- Review materials before submission to clients to ensure quality and alignment with expectations.
4. Internal Communication & Problem Solving
- Conduct post-event assessments and share client feedback with the team for improvement.
- Flag issues or concerns early and coordinate with the CEO to resolve them promptly.
- Ensure client satisfaction and smooth project execution.
5. Sales & Business Development Support
- Collaborate with the CEO on business proposals and presentation decks.
- Join pitches or exploratory calls as needed.
- Help expand existing accounts and support new project acquisitions.
- Contribute to setting quarterly KPI goals for the team.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Submit weekly updates to the CEO on account and project status.
- Prepare client reports, post-campaign summaries, and other tracking documents.
7. On-Ground Event Support
- Assist in event management, including ingress and egress when necessary.
- Handle additional assignments from the CEO to support agency operations and growth.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in client servicing, account management, or project management within the marketing, events, or advertising industry.
- Client Management: Proven experience in managing key client accounts with strong relationship-building skills.
- Project & Campaign Management: Skilled in managing end-to-end campaigns, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and high-quality results.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; confident in presenting and negotiating with clients.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making skills; proactive in identifying issues and providing solutions.
- Business Development: Capable of supporting sales efforts, participating in pitches, and helping grow existing accounts.
