Job Description
The Account Development Specialist (ADS) is responsible for acquiring, developing, and maintaining strong customer relationships that drive sustainable sales growth for Premier Food Choice International Corp. (PFC).
The role combines active fieldwork, client relationship management, and operational coordination to ensure customer satisfaction, consistent revenue generation, and account profitability. Working closely with the Sales Manager, the ADS serves as PFC’s front-line ambassador — embodying the company’s values of Integrity, Reliability, and Excellence while delivering world-class customer service and business results.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship & Business Development
- Conduct daily field visits to existing and prospective clients (minimum 3–5 per day) to build relationships and identify business opportunities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all client inquiries, providing accurate, timely, and professional responses.
- Develop formal sales proposals, quotations, and offers based on customer requirements and product availability.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial engagement, negotiation, to closing of deals ensuring alignment with company pricing and margin standards.
2. Account Planning & Market Expansion
- Identify and convert new key accounts, institutional clients, and foodservice partners within assigned territories.
- Execute territory plans aimed at increasing market share, sales volume, and product penetration.
- Support the Sales Manager in mapping new business opportunities and competitor intelligence for strategic growth.
3. Operations & Customer Service Coordination
- Act as the on-ground representative to resolve customer issues and ensure smooth order-to-delivery operations.
- Coordinate closely with Logistics, Warehouse, and Finance teams for order processing, delivery schedules, and documentation.
- Provide real-time delivery updates and post-service feedback to maintain customer trust and satisfaction.
4. Field Reporting & Activity Documentation
- Submit daily visit reports, including proof-of-activity (location check-ins, visit photos, and client notes) to ensure visibility and accountability.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, order history, and feedback to support performance analysis and customer retention.
- Manage collections, countering of invoices, and payment follow-ups to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize outstanding balances.
- Monitor and reconcile client credit standings, promptly coordinating overdue accounts with Finance and Sales Manager.
- Develop deep understanding of frozen meat and seafood products, including specifications, quality grades, and sourcing origins.
- Advise clients on product selection, cooking applications, and cost optimization based on menu or business requirements.
- Keep updated on market trends, pricing movements, and competitor activity to guide customer discussions strategically.
7. Collaboration & Internal Coordination
- Work collaboratively with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to align client orders with inventory and delivery capacity.
- Participate in weekly sales and planning meetings to update management on client performance, forecasts, and opportunities.
8. Integrity, Professionalism & PFC Brand Representation
