Job summary

Asia Piling Co Pte Ltd is seeking an Account Assistant to join our finance team on a full-time basis. Based in the Aljunied Central Region, you will support the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial records and smooth processing of daily transactions.

Key duties include recording invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, data entry into our accounting system, and assisting with month-end close.

Qualifications

• GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification in accounting, business studies or related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices.
• Professional and courteous demeanour when dealing with colleagues and external parties.
• Prior experience in an accounting role or relevant internship is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processing and recording financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Maintaining accurate and organised accounting records and documentation.
• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Preparing bank reconciliations and assisting with month-end closing procedures.
• Data entry and updating of financial information into accounting systems.
• Supporting the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Filing and organising financial documents in accordance with company procedures.
• Responding to invoice queries and assisting with payment processing.
• Supporting senior accounting staff with ad hoc accounting duties as required.
