As an Academic Associate ( AA ) in Media and Communications, you will work closely with the faculty in providing academic support to Media and Communications major students and occupational minor students in Media andJournalism.

This is a1‑year full-time position with the possibility of extension for anotheryear.

Responsibilities:

• Work with faculty on two to three undergraduate-level courses everysemester.
• Prepare for courses and tutorials, including developing pedagogical practices suited for adiverse studentbody.
• Hold tutorial sessions for additional mentoring asneeded.
• Support students in media labs and help manage labactivities.
• Create and maintain aweekly calendar of activities for the medialab.
• Assist faculty members in organising media club events, seminars, workshops, field trips, screenings, outreach activities, and library/media resourceconnections.
• Assist in planning and running the summerprogram.
• Engage in independent or collaborative research projects under the guidance of facultymembers.

Requirements
