An AC (Aircon) Project Manager isresponsible for theend-to-end planning, execution, and completion of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) projectswithin budget, on schedule, and in compliance with industry standards. The role involves technical support, subcontractor management, and extensive cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution:Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure seamless execution of AC/HVAC initiatives. This includes defining project scope, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Technical Oversight:Provide technical support during project implementation, including assistance with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC equipment. This also involves troubleshooting technical issues at project sites.
- Construction & Quality Management:Supervise and manage subcontractors to ensure construction is in accordance with project specifications and safety conditions. Ensure all quality assurance and testing are performed.
- Stakeholder & Communication Management:Serve as the central point of contact, coordinating with various internal teams (sales, marketing, supply chain, service, finance, engineering) and external stakeholders (clients, partners, subcontractors, vendors) to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
- Risk & Issue Management:Proactively monitor project progress, identify potential risks or bottlenecks, and implement effective countermeasures or corrective actions as needed.
- Documentation & Reporting:Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily, weekly, and monthly construction reports, method statements, and lessons learned.
- Process Improvement:Continuously monitor performance and analyze project outcomes to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to project governance frameworks and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within the HVAC, construction, or consumer electronics industries.
- Deep technical understanding of HVAC systems, equipment, and technologies.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project) and MS Office applications.
