Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Metro Manila seeks an experienced Project in Charge for HVAC works. The role involves supervising HVAC installation, interpreting technical specifications, and coordinating activities with various trades. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and has at least 7 years of relevant experience. The project will require site presence and effective management of project documentation and teams. Strong knowledge of ISO standards is vital.

Qualifications

• 7+ years working experience as Project in Charge for HVAC.
• Experience in HVAC construction, site operations, and project implementation.
• Knowledgeable in ISO standards and willing to be assigned to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HVAC installation works including ducting, piping, and mechanical systems.
• Coordinate site activities with other trades like civil, structural, and MEPFS.
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
• Monitor project schedule and submit necessary reports.

Description

• Supervise HVAC installation works, specially for AC Units and Mechanical System including ducting and piping
• Interpret and review Mechanical plan lay-outs, construction/installation drawings and technical specifications
• Monitor day-to-day project site operations and lead AC technicians and subcontractors
• Coordinate site activities with other trades (civil, structural, architectural, and MEPFS)
• Conduct inspection and quality control checklist to ensure workmanship meets design and regulatory standards
• Monitor schedule and progress, to submit daily/weekly/monthly report
• Resolve technical and on-site issues with urgency
• Ensure timely manage procurement tracking and delivery of AC equipment site materials
• Support testing, commissioning and system integration of control system
• Ensure compliance with building codes, environmental standards and safety protocols
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports, safety logs and progress updates
• Lease with clients, consultants and internal teams for project alignment and updates

Requirements

• BS Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Graduate or Equivalent
• With 7 years working experience as Project in Charge for HVAC works
• Construction experience specializing in Site Operations and Implementations based on approved FCD's, Technical Specifications, Employer's requirement and TOR's
• Knowledgeable in ISO standards and procedures
• Willing to be assigned in the project sites
