You will collaborate with Australian manufacturing professionals and progress towards production-ready solutions within Emapta's international career network.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on Autodesk Inventor experience.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience using Autodesk Inventor
• Strong background in custom product design, particularly complex, non-standard, and curved designs
• Proven experience in 3D modeling and technical drafting, including detailed models and fabrication drawings
• Ability to manage the entire design process, from initial concept through completion
• Experience developing independent, customized design solutions beyond the scope of large, specialized design teams
• Solid understanding of construction materials, finishes, and practical fabrication considerations
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, Tekla, Advance Steel, or similar design software, an advantage
• Strong spatial awareness, attention to detail, and ability to meet project deadlines

Your Daily Task

• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor for complex, curved, and customized product designs.
• Develop end-to-end design solutions, from initial 3D models to production-ready documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with construction standards, dimensional tolerances, and product specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers, estimators, and project managers to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.
• Manage the design process independently, including material take-offs and fabrication drawings.
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings to support accurate fabrication and installation.
• Coordinate with shop floor teams to ensure constructibility and alignment with design intent.
