Job summary

Stanley Cowton International is seeking a Project Director / Senior Project Leader for major EPC projects based in the US Midwest and Northeast. You will lead high-value, technically demanding capital programs, directing multi-disciplinary teams and key contractors on-site to deliver complex lifecycle stages from design through commissioning.

Ideal candidates have proven success in Life Sciences, Pharma/Biotech, Semiconductor, or mission-critical facilities, with strong stakeholder management

Responsibilities

• Manage large multidisciplinary teams and contractors across EPC/EPCM delivery phases.

Project Director / Senior Project Leadership | Major EPC Projects | USA

SCI is supporting a leading global engineering and construction organisation with several critical project leadership hires across the US.

We are looking to speak with experienced Project Directors and senior Project Managers who have successfully delivered complex, technically demanding capital projects within:

• Pharmaceutical / Biotech / cGMP manufacturing
• Mission Critical / Data Centres
• Complex industrial facilities and live-site retrofits

The projects range from a $1B+ expansion of a major biologics manufacturing facility, through to a multi-billion-dollar advanced technology project, alongside a significant retrofit and upgrade programme within an operating facility.

These are not roles for someone looking to make their first move into large-scale project leadership.

We are specifically looking for people who can demonstrate experience leading high-value, high-complexity projects, managing major construction programmes, leading large multidisciplinary teams and contractors, and operating effectively with demanding clients and stakeholders.

Depending on the project, experience could include preconstruction, design, EPC/EPCM delivery, construction leadership, commissioning and project close-out.

The positions are site-based in the US Midwest and Northeast, and will require a strong on-site leadership presence.
