SPIE Global Services Energy in Peru seeks an Electrical Responsible Person / Electrical Superintendent to lead commissioning and energisation of switchgear, transformers, MCCs, UPSs, generators and distribution systems.

The role requires 10+ years in electrical construction and start-up, proven superintendent experience in oil & gas or petrochemical projects, and strong safety management with LOTO, PTW and energisation controls. 1-year fixed-term, full-time.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience in electrical construction, commissioning, start-up, and plant operations.
• Proven Electrical Superintendent experience in oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, or power projects.
• Strong background in electrical safety management, including LOTO, electrical isolation, PTW, and energization control.
• Experience preparing and approving electrical isolation and energisation procedures.

Responsibilities

• - Capable of leading commissioning and energisation activities for switchgear, transformers, MCCs, UPSs, generators, and power distribution systems.
• - Good understanding of protection systems, relay testing, and power system operation.
• - Coordinate with Operations, Construction, Commissioning, Engineering, and HSE teams.
• - Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management capability.
• - Preparing and approving electrical isolation and energisation procedures.

Profile

• - 10+ years of experience in electrical construction, commissioning, start-up, and plant operations.
• - Proven Electrical Superintendent experience in oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, or power projects.
• - Strong background in electrical safety management, including LOTO, electrical isolation, PTW, and energization control.
• - Experience preparing and approving electrical isolation and energisation procedures.
• - Expected “field” assignment duration: approximately 1-2 years (9 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation), with possible extension.
