Google is seeking a Program Manager, Environmental Health and Safety for Data Centers in Jakarta. You will lead cross-functional EHS projects, coordinate requirements, schedules, and risks across offices and time zones, and keep stakeholders informed of progress and deadlines.

The role focuses on developing a robust EHS program, ensuring regulatory compliance, contractor management, and safe, sustainable operations for Google infrastructure worldwide.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Active general OHS Expert Certification (Ahli K3 Umum) from the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower.
  • 2 years of experience in EHS management systems or EHS compliance.
  • Experience in Indonesian EHS regulations.
  • Experience in EHS Risk Assessments (HIRADC/IBPR) and hazard control.

Responsabilidades

  • Act as a key contributor to continuous improvement across Google's EHS operations by building trusted relationships with program stakeholders and ensuring they have insights to make decisions.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of programs, organizing and leading activities that drive improvements in EHS domain.
  • Define and address undefined cross-functional challenges using program management methodologies to monitor programs and stakeholders.
  • Be able to travel (0% - 50%) and onsite a minimum of 3 days per week (extendable as business needs).

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience managing multi-site portfolios and coordinating with third-party vendors and local authorities (Disnaker).
  • Experience navigating shared health and safety responsibilities and joint risk management protocols within colocation environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Indonesian Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) laws, associated municipal/provincial regulations, as well as EHS best practices.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Indonesia fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Advocate and influence leaders to establish a healthy work environment. Ensure that Google infrastructure complies with all applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements.

This commitment extends to proactive and engaging safety programs and services, including environmental regulatory compliance and technical due diligence, occupational safety regulatory compliance, occupational health regulatory compliance, contractor management and EHS performance management, incident investigations, design for safety, product safety, new product introductions, consensus standards, and assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Define and address undefined cross-functional and cross-organizational challenges, utilizing program management methodologies to effectively monitor and manage programs and stakeholders.
  • Be able to travel (0% - 50%) and to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per week (extendable as business requests).
