PT SOECHI LINES Tbk, Head Office in Jakarta, seeks a Crewing Specialist to source, evaluate and register crew candidates in line with vessel requirements and STCW 2010 standards.

You will maintain crew documentation, coordinate with Marine/Technical Superintendents, and prepare periodic crewing reports. Candidates should have maritime education, at least 1 year crewing experience, and strong English communication skills.

Formación

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in maritime studies with majors Transport Management / Port and Shipping management.
• At least 1 year of working experience in crewing area.
• Preferably candidate with experience in manning agency.
• Solid knowledge of maritime laws and regulation.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills with outstanding proficiency in English.
• Able to join within 1 month notice.

Responsabilidades

• Sourcing, scouting and selecting crew based on vessel requirement.
• Make register and register application documents of crew candidates including seaman book, certificates, and medical checkups.
• Submit crew candidate data for early interview to Marine/Technical Superintendent ensuring documents are valid per STCW 2010.
• Prepare reports of crewing and recruitment activities (recruits, resignations, vessels, crew levels).
• Conduct crew talent scouting and cover additional orders as instructed by Crewing Manager / VP Crewing.

Responsible to scouting, selecting and processingsuitable crew based on vessel requirement

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY:

Sourcing, scouting and selecting crew based on vessel requirement

Making register and registering application document of crew candidate including important document such as seaman book, certificate, checkup, etc.

Sending crew candidate data in accordance with competency to the Marine Superintendent or Technical Superintendent for early interview - Assisting & ensuring all documents valid as per STCW 2010

Making report of Crewing and Recruitment activities (numbers of crews recruited and resigned during report period, the vessels, crew levels, etc.)

Conduct mess visit to scouting best talent

Cover any additional job orders as and when instructed by Crewing Manager / VP Crewing

REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma or Bachelor Degree from maritime studies candidate with education background majoring inTransport Management / Port and Shipping management(Ketatalaksanaan Pelayaran Niaga dan Kepelabuhanan)

At least 1 year of working experience in crewing area

Preferably candidate with experience in manning agency

Solid knowledge of maritime laws and regulation

Possess good communication and interpersonal skills with outstanding proficiency in English

Able to join within 1 month notice
