PT SOECHI LINES Tbk is seeking a Marine Safety Supervisor to ensure safe operation of its ships and act as the link between the Company and crew to monitor safety and pollution prevention. You will coordinate audits, inspections, and training, maintaining ISM compliance while supporting Master and shore-based teams.

The role requires Master License, ANT-1 certification, and extensive tanker experience, with frequent travel.

Formación

• Hold ANT-1 (Ahli Nautika Tingkat 1) and Master License.
• Sea-going experience as Master on at least two contracts on Oil/Chemical/Gas tankers.
• Extensive knowledge of maritime regulations (TMSA, SIRE, PSA) and related standards.
• Strong leadership, proactive mindset, and collaborative work style.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor shipboard marine safety, environmental & quality issues and assist Master as needed.
• Oversee office and shipboard safety, environmental and quality compliance.
• Track voyage performance and provide assistance to the Master for operations.
• Maintain ISM Certification and plan annual shipboard audits with QA.
• Conduct vessel inspections to verify compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, Load Line, STCW and ILO Conventions.
• Document accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformities; ensure timely corrective actions.
• Execute marine procedures in line with company SOPs.
• Develop annual audit plans and coordinate internal audits and corrective actions.
• Coordinate inspections, pre-vetting, incident investigations, audits, QA implementation and safety training.

GENERAL INFORMATION :

JOB SUMMARY :

To ensure the safe operation of the ships to which he has been assigned and to provide a link between the Company and those on board to monitor the safety and pollution prevention aspects of the operation and to ensure that adequate resources and shore-based support are applied as required.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITY :

• Monitor the shipboard marine safety, environmental & quality issues, Control and monitor the risk for assigned vessels and to act as part of the risk assessment team for shipboard procedures and operations
• Monitor the office and shipboard marine, safety, environmental & quality issues
• Monitor the voyage and operational performance of assigned vessels providing assistance to the Master as necessary.
• Maintain ISM Certification and formulate the shipboard annual audit plan to ensure that audits are progressed (in conjunction with Quality Management Officer).
• Conduct vessel inspections to confirm compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, Load Line, STCW, ILO Conventions and applicable industry codes. Verify that any corrective action is agreed upon and implemented in a timely manner.
• Maintain records of accidents, incidents, near misses and non-conformance reports. Verify that an effective investigation is carried out and appropriate corrective action is agreed upon and implemented in a timely manner.
• Responsible for carrying out Marine procedures that are in accordance with the company's SOP
• Establish annual audit plans, arrange and co-ordinate internal audits, take part in audits and follow-up correction actions.
• Arrange and monitor inspections onboard fleet vessels including pre-vetting, incident investigation, audit, QA implementation and safety training.

REQUIREMENTS :

• ANT-1 (Ahli Nautika Tingkat 1) Certified / Master License
• Sailing experience as Master capacity for at least 2 contract in Oil/Chemical/Gas tankers
• Having vast knowledge for maritime regulation also familiar with TMSA, SIRE, PSA etc. is a must
• Possess good analytical thinking, proactive, good leadership and able to work Collaboratively
• Willing to travel frequently
