Job summary

Jazera Arabia Contracting in Oman seeks a qualified Tendering Manager to lead bid strategy across infrastructure, buildings, and transmission line projects. The role requires deep experience in cost estimation, BOQs, tender documents, and competitive bid development.

You will review tender requirements, coordinate with engineering, procurement, contracts and project teams, oversee multiple tenders, and drive pricing accuracy with strong leadership and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in tendering and estimation within the contracting and construction industry.
• Strong experience in tendering and estimation within the contracting and construction industry.
• Strong experience in Infrastructure Works, Buildings, and Transmission Line Projects.
• Strong experience in cost estimation, bid preparation, quantity take-off, and technical & commercial proposal development.
• Good knowledge of contracts, tender documents, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Experience in reviewing tender requirements and preparing competitive technical and commercial bids.
• Proven experience in leading and managing tendering teams and overseeing the overall tendering process.
• Ability to review and approve cost estimates, pricing strategies, and technical & commercial proposals before submission.
• In-depth knowledge of current market prices, material and subcontractor rates, and construction industry pricing trends to ensure accurate and competitive tender pricing.
• Experience in coordinating with Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, and Project Management teams during the tendering process.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders, priorities, deadlines, and bid submissions.
• Strong leadership, analytical, negotiation, decision-making, and communication skills.
