Job summary

Employment seeks a PCC Telecom Supervisor to coordinate, supervise, and execute telecom pre-commissioning and commissioning for a large industrial energy project in Oman. You will ensure installation, testing, integration, and readiness for start-up and handover to operations.

Key duties include FAT/SAT testing, documentation control, safety compliance, and collaboration with engineering, construction, QA/QC, and operations to achieve timely handover and system readiness.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of telecoms experience in oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, or large industrial projects.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory role focused on pre-commissioning and commissioning.
• Proven experience on major EPC projects during the commissioning phase.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all telecom pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including installation checks and functional testing.
• Ensure telecom systems are ready for energization, start-up, and handover.
• Coordinate telecom activities with commissioning teams and other disciplines.
• Review method statements, FAT, SAT, and commissioning tests; ensure documentation and red-line drawings are updated.
