PCC System Lead — LNG Precommissioning & Startup

Job summary

Employment seeks an experienced PCC System Lead to coordinate precommissioning and commissioning on a large LNG facility in Oman. You will own the system, guiding engineers and field teams from mechanical completion through startup and handover to operations.

This hands-on, site-based role requires senior commissioning expertise, strong EPC project background, and a proactive, safety-focused leadership style in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years oil & gas or LNG project experience.
• Proven leadership role during precommissioning and commissioning.
• Experience as system lead / PCC lead on large EPC projects.
• Extensive site based LNG or gas processing facility exposure.
• Candidates without direct PCC leadership responsibility will not be considered.
• Strong ability to interpret P&IDs, electrical SLDs, and instrument loop diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Act as system lead for assigned process and/or utility systems during PCC phases.
• Lead system-based planning, execution strategy, and sequencing per commissioning philosophy.
• Define boundaries, turnover scope, and priorities.
• Supervise and coordinate PCC system engineers and field teams.
• Ensure mechanical completion readiness and controlled handover to precommissioning.
• Lead PCC activities: flushing, testing, energisation readiness.
• Lead commissioning execution, live system testing, and startup support.
• Manage punch lists, constraints, and system acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, operations, HSE, and QA/QC.
• Review and approve commissioning procedures, test packs, and system dossiers.
• Report progress, risks, and performance to commissioning manager.
