Baker Hughes in Oman seeks a Senior Technical Support Engineer for Cementing to ensure flawless execution by providing technical support to the Service Delivery and Sales organizations during pre-planning, job execution and post job analysis.

The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (chemical) with 15+ years in cementing and extensive experience with CemFacts, cemvision, IsoVision, and foam cementing systems; strong analytical skills and ability to mentor small teams are

• 15+ years of cementing experience.
• Experience with CemFacts, CemVision, IsoVision for 10+ years.
• Experience with foam cementing systems for 10+ years.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop and mentor small technical teams.
• Understanding of P/L technology and service delivery requirements.
• Available for 24/7 service environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Service Delivery and Sales organizations during pre-planning, job execution, and post job analysis.
• Ensure compliance with the MtJC process.
• Serve as SME for the area of support.
• Provide field support via online, phone, and technical papers.
• Provide 24/7 support for critical operations in the field.
• Share knowledge via best practices and lessons learned to the knowledge base.
• Follow up on field failures with technology involvement and share learnings.
• Raise alerts for unfamiliar technical issues on a job.
• Coach other technical resources in their area of expertise.
• Communicate with Engineering on issues and lessons learned.
• Handle special projects as required.

Partner with the best The Technical support Engineer ensures Baker Hughes deliver flawless execution by providing Technical Support to the Service Delivery organization and Sales organization when needed in pre-planning, job execution, and post job analysis. As a Technical Support Engineer Cementing, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring compliance with Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process
• Being Subject Matter Expert for their area of support
• Providing Support the field technically through different media ( online , phone calls and technical papers)
• Providing 24/7 Support for Critical Operations in the field when needed
• Sharing the knowledge across the organization by submitting best practices, case histories & lessons learned to the knowledge management database
• Following up on field failures that requires Technology involvement and ensure that the learning is shared across the field
• Raising an alert across the Service Delivery organization whenever an unfamiliar technical issues arises on a job
• Coaching other technical resources in their area of expertise
• Communicating to Engineering and Technology organization on issues and lessons learned related to different technologies performing PL specific responsibilities
• Handling special projects as required

• Have experience in Foam cementing system for 10+ years
