Baker Hughes in Oman seeks a Senior Technical Support Engineer for Cementing to ensure flawless execution by providing technical support to the Service Delivery and Sales organizations during pre-planning, job execution and post job analysis.

The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (chemical) with 15+ years in cementing and extensive experience with CemFacts, cemvision, IsoVision, and foam cementing systems; strong analytical skills and ability to mentor small teams are

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 15+ years of cementing experience.
• Experience with CemFacts, CemVision, IsoVision for 10+ years.
• Experience with foam cementing systems for 10+ years.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to develop and mentor small technical teams.
• Understanding of P/L technology and service delivery requirements.
• Available for 24/7 service environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to the Service Delivery and Sales organizations during pre-planning, job execution, and post job analysis.
• Ensure compliance with the MtJC process.
• Serve as SME for the area of support.
• Provide field support via online, phone, and technical papers.
• Provide 24/7 support for critical operations in the field.
• Share knowledge via best practices and lessons learned to the knowledge base.
• Follow up on field failures with technology involvement and share learnings.
• Raise alerts for unfamiliar technical issues on a job.
• Coach other technical resources in their area of expertise.
• Communicate with Engineering on issues and lessons learned.
• Handle special projects as required.
