Halliburton Energy Services in Oman seeks an experienced engineer to diagnose well problems, design solutions, and oversee delivery and evaluation of hydraulic workovers. The role requires on-site leadership and cross-functional coordination with the Operations Team and PSLs.

Applicants should hold an undergraduate STEM degree, with Petroleum Engineering preferred, and have at least two years of service-line experience. Experience in Hydraulic Work over is a plus.

Job Duties

Under general supervision, provides a total solution for our customers to include diagnosis of well problems, design solution, appropriate delivery method and evaluation plan. This role has developed technical competence in the Product Service Lines (PSL). Performs assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles and adherence to Company policies, standards, and work methods for Hydraulic Work over. Works independently and provides work direction to others at well site. Leads full spectrum of the job, from performing pre-job planning analysis up to post job performance analysis. Functions as the liaison between customer and Operations Team. Consults cross- functionally with PSLs regarding equipment needs and specifications. Undergraduate STEM degree is required, Petroleum Engineering degree preferred. Two years of service line experience is required. Experience in Hydraulic Work over is preferred. Effectively contributes to team goals/objectives and provides guidance to less experienced team members. Responsible for peer review of job designs. Adopts and executes the Production Solutions PSL Customer Value Proposition and work flow identifying four specific skill sets: Diagnose, Design, Deliver and Evaluate. Regularly engages with peers and senior colleagues to practice, implement and gain further involvement into the four phases of the work flow.
