Job summary

Tawteen in Oman is seeking a Transport Planner to optimize road transport operations, plan routes, schedule shipments and ensure timely deliveries while considering cost, regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

You will monitor performance, coordinate with suppliers and customers, and ensure accuracy of transport documentation and invoicing within the Transport Management System. A related degree and strong analytical skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in related field.
• Experience in logistics or supply chain environment.
• Knowledge of GCC road transport regulations.
• Ability to plan routes and schedules and manage transportation documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate road transportation activities to ensure timely deliveries.
• Develop transportation schedules and coordinate shipment planning.
• Optimize resource utilization for efficiency.
• Prepare shipment documentation per regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Coordinate customs clearance activities with stakeholders.
• Verify invoices and services against rates and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
