Arla Foods Oman is hiring an Accountant to join our finance team near Muscat. You will handle day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate postings, reconciliations, and timely reporting in collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, HR and external partners.

You will support monthly closings, VAT compliance, intercompany activity and budgeting, while upholding strong internal controls and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• Strong accounting knowledge and reconciliation capability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Oman VAT, basic tax compliance and audit requirements.
• ERP experience with SAP or D365; Power BI a plus.

Responsabilités

• Process and review supplier and customer invoices, credit notes, collections, payments and journal entries in line with Arla policies and delegated authority.
• Support monthly, quarterly and year-end closing including accruals, provisions, reporting schedules and intercompany confirmations.
• Prepare and validate balance sheet, bank, vendor and customer reconciliations, and follow up on ageing items and overdue balances.
• Ensure compliance with Oman VAT, tax requirements, e-invoicing developments and internal controls.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and management reporting while maintaining digital records and coordinating with business teams.
