Arla Oman is seeking an Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting. You will work with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain and external partners, reporting to the Head of Accounting.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, proficiency in Excel, and knowledge of Oman VAT and local statutory practices. ERP experience with SAP or D365 and Power BI is advantageous, while English communication is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Strong accounting knowledge with reconciliation capability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Oman VAT, tax compliance, audit requirements and local statutory practices.
• ERP experience with SAP or D365; Power BI and other digital finance tools are advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations for Arla Oman.
• Process supplier and customer invoices, credit notes, collections, payments and journal entries.
• Support monthly, quarterly and year-end closing, including accruals, provisions, reporting schedules and intercompany confirmations.
• Prepare and validate balance sheet, bank, vendor and customer reconciliations, while following up on ageing items and customer risk.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit documentation; business visits to depots, banks, auditors or government offices may be required.
