Job summary

Client of Dolphin Manpower is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage day-to-day financial transactions in Oman. The role involves preparing financial statements, ledgers, invoices, and reports, while handling payables and receivables and performing bank reconciliations.

You will also be responsible for budgeting, cash-flow reporting, and financial analysis, ensuring accurate accounting records and compliant VAT filings.

Qualifications

• Must hold CPA/CA/ACA/ACCA credentials.
• Experience in statutory and VAT tax compliance in Oman is required.
• Candidates with Indian nationality are requested to apply as per ad.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, invoices, and reports.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliation and monthly closing activities.
• Prepare budgets, cash-flow reports and financial analysis.
• Ensure accurate recording of all accounting entries.
• Monitor expenses and maintain proper financial documentation.
• Assist with tax and VAT compliance and audit requirements in Oman.
