Job summary

OQ in Muscat is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Engineer to oversee the full contracts cycle, including tender preparation and contract negotiations. The successful candidate will engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and value realization in all contracts whilst maintaining high HSE standards.

The ideal applicant should have a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a similar role within the Oil and Gas or Energy sectors, possess strong analytical skills, and be proficient in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of written, read, and spoken English required.
• Oil and Gas / Energy industry experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Execute the complete tendering process including evaluations and negotiations.
• Draft contracts and commercial terms to protect company interests.
• Conduct negotiations with vendors for value realization.
