Job summary

Seeh Al Sarya Engineering LLC is recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a high-profile project in Oman. The role involves measuring, reporting, and managing construction quantities, costs and documentation in line with contract specifications and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive Oil & Gas sector experience with PDO-ODC contracts, familiarity with Shell standards, and a track record of working with international design and construction norms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of quantity surveying experience in major construction or engineering environments.
• 3+ years with activity or work sampling techniques and related statistics.
• 5+ years in Oil & Gas with PDO-ODC contract experience.
• Familiarity with Company or Shell standards preferred.
• Conversant with international design and construction standards for Oil & Gas sector.

Responsibilities

• Measure and re-measure quantities following contract qualifications at all stages of construction.
• Quantify materials, labour hours, activities, plant and equipment usage.
• Manage cost estimates through valuations, variations control and claims assessment.
• Prepare final cost estimate report for validation and calibration of norms.
• Record original BOQ and track changes during project execution.
• Review BOQ, MTO, or BOM at any design or engineering phase.
• Report daily to Site Manager and functionally to Lead/Senior Quantity Surveyor.
