Job summary

MENA HR Solutions LLC (IBD Group) is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee all QS activities throughout the full contract lifecycle for oil & gas projects in Oman. You will handle estimating, valuation, post‑contract administration and final accounts to protect contract value.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, a minimum of 4 years’ experience, and ideally membership of RICS or CIPS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years experience in quantity surveying, preferably within oil & gas.
• Membership of a recognized professional body, such as RICS or CIPS, is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of measurement, valuation, estimating, contract pricing mechanisms, and post-contract commercial administration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HSE compliance and uphold company rules.
• Prepare cost estimates at various design stages and monitor post‑contract expenditure.
• Measure and value construction works per contract and manage post‑award administration.
• Assess contractor claims and support dispute resolution to protect company value.
• Review drawings, BOQs, schedules of rates, and contract documents for scope and cost implications.
• Support procurement and tendering activities with cost data and pricing assumptions.
