Job summary

Waffarha in Muscat seeks a dynamic Merchant Acquisition Executive to bring onboard and manage merchants, aiming to maximize profits. You will source and develop a pool of small to medium merchants, sign them up, and maintain active engagement with existing partners to drive sales and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in the e-commerce and retail industry in the Oman Market is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree is a must.
• English proficiency (Upper-Intermediate)
• Valid Driving License (Required)
• 2–4 years of experience in sales.
• Excellent time-management & Organizational Skills.
• Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
• Good analytical & research skills.
• Dynamic, outgoing & energetic individual.
• Excellent networking & follow-up skills.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Excel – Word.

Responsibilities

• Acquire merchants for Waffarha and maintain positive relationships to maximize profit.
• Source and develop a pool of small to medium merchants; sign them up and maintain active engagement with existing ones.
• Create opportunities and initiate business with new merchants from various sources (social media, connections, visits).
• Review discount plans for merchants and for similar suppliers.
• Create and negotiate competitive deals with merchants aligned to customer needs to maximize profits.
• Analyze and test offers from merchants and verify documentation.
