Job summary

Gu-recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee mechanical systems coordination for a wind turbine plant construction project in Oman. You will lead design integration across disciplines and support site activities.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in wind or renewable energy projects, strong knowledge of fire safety, HVAC, piping, and BIM management, and proven ability to manage subcontractors and vendor selections.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical systems and project coordination.
• Knowledge of wind turbine/mechanical systems and fire safety, HVAC, piping, and cooling.
• Experience with BIM management and design coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical design process ensuring integration with electrical, civil, and structural disciplines.
• Oversee site support and coordinate mechanical works with the project schedule.
• Monitor project progress, risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Support tendering and evaluate mechanical suppliers/contractors.
