G-NIUS | Powered by Goodman Masson is seeking an Insurance Specialist (Maritime Vessel/Cargo Vessel) in Muscat, Oman. The role carries full ownership of the insurance portfolio, coordinating with brokers, insurers, banks and deal teams on cross-border transactions.

You will manage placements, renewals and invoicing, review contract wording and ensure compliance across marine, aviation and liability covers. English is mandatory, with French/Spanish a plus, and ACII/CIM qualifications are

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in corporate insurance, with strong marine exposure.
• Proven ability to review wording in financing contracts and insurance clauses.
• English mandatory; French or Spanish is a major advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience maintaining insurance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage placement, renewal and administration of marine hull & machinery, P&I, War Risk and other policies.
• Review insurance wording in financing agreements and contracts for compliance.
• Build comprehensive insurance schedules with limits, deductibles and dates.
• Coordinate with international brokers and underwriters for quotes and placements.
• Lead claims process, liaise with brokers and loss adjusters and report progress.
• Prepare insurance status reports and renewal pipelines for senior management.
