G-NIUS | Powered by Goodman Masson in Oman is seeking a Risk Manager for asset-backed financing and transportation assets. The role requires breadth across credit, operational and market risk and offers exposure to expatriate candidates as well as regional hires.

You will provide independent risk opinions, perform financial analysis and stress testing, and support portfolio monitoring in a dynamic, commercially focused environment.

Formación

• 4-7+ years of relevant experience in risk analysis / credit risk / financial analysis, preferably within banking, leasing, shipping or asset finance.
• Demonstrable experience across multiple risk disciplines, particularly credit, operational and market risk.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Python, VBA or SQL is a strong advantage.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA or CFA are preferred.
• Professional working proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Provide independent risk assessments and opinions on financial transactions, covering credit, operational, market, project, FX and other exposures.
• Analyse counterparties’ financial statements, cash flows and models; conduct stress testing and recommend mitigants.
• Monitor clients’ financial standing, repayment capacity and collateral sufficiency.
• Perform portfolio analysis and quality control.
• Support Risk Committee processes, operational-risk documentation, and risk reporting.
