Job summary

Oman Investment Authority seeks a Senior Maintenance Engineer to lead the reliability, uptime, and performance optimization of flotation and de-watering systems in mineral processing. You will guide maintenance planning, asset integrity, and continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with Operations and Projects teams to maximize equipment availability and minimize lifecycle costs.

The role requires extensive experience in large-scale processing plants, strong leadership, and adherence

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field; higher Diploma acceptable.
10+ years of experience in concentrator plant or related process plant with similar equipment.
8+ years in mining processing industry or related field.
Proven track record in managing maintenance for large-scale processing facilities.
Certifications in RCFA, FMEA, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance for flotation cells, thickeners, filtration, dewatering, and pumps to ensure safe operation.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize reliability and process performance.
Perform RCFA and FMEA studies to identify recurring issues and sustainable actions.
Coordinate maintenance planning, scheduling, and SAP PM execution.
Lead shutdown and turnaround activities with safety and quality in focus.
Provide technical support for troubleshooting and modifications of equipment.
