Job summary

Oman Investment Authority seeks a Senior Engineer Maintenance Contracts to administer and manage maintenance service contracts, drive contractor performance, coordinate procurement and commercial activities, and ensure contractual compliance across all maintenance operations.

The role supports maintenance execution by managing contract documentation, tendering, cost control, and vendor performance to support safe, reliable and cost‑effective plant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher diploma in a relevant field.
• 10 years of maintenance planning, shutdown planning or contracts management experience in mining, minerals processing or heavy industries.
• Experience in supervising or senior roles and in large-scale shutdowns.

Responsibilities

• Administer maintenance service contracts and ensure compliance with governance procedures.
• Monitor contract performance against KPIs and service levels; manage variations and close-outs.
• Coordinate tendering, bid evaluations, and contractor selection processes.
• Support procurement and commercial activities, including negotiations and cost control.
• Develop contract reports and dashboards; monitor cost trends and savings.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance in contract execution.
• Coordinate with maintenance planners and operations for effective service delivery.
