Job summary

Sofitel welcomes an experienced butler to deliver personalized luxury service, anticipating guest needs and ensuring privacy across all hotel departments. You will supervise service colleagues, coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, and F&B, and assist VIP guests and special occasions with discretion.

Fluency in English is required; Arabic knowledge is highly desirable. A high school diploma is required; hospitality qualifications or certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a butler in luxury hospitality
• Supervisory experience leading a service team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for guests, colleagues and other departments
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with staff development
• Proficiency in household management software and MS Office
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Superior time management and multitasking abilities
• Knowledge of etiquette, protocol, and luxury service standards
• Arabic language familiarity desirable
• High school diploma required; hospitality degree or related certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Anticipate guests' needs and preferences for a luxury experience.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments.
• Assist VIP guests and organize special occasions.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure prompt resolution.
• Maintain high grooming, etiquette, confidentiality, and luxury service standards.
• Provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
