Job summary

Saudi Aramco is seeking an Affiliate Financial Advisor for the Western Region Fuels Department to lead JV management, financial optimization, and value realization across downstream joint ventures.

The role requires extensive experience in valuation, modeling, due diligence, and complex negotiations with partners, aimed at delivering disciplined financial oversight and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Business, or Finance from an international program.
• Master's degree in Business, Finance or Management.
• Financial certification (CFA/CMA/CPA) preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in Downstream Oil & Gas, including 5+ years in commercial strategy, Joint venture management, or M&A.
• Proven ability in leading negotiations and governance of joint ventures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor Joint Ventures, aligning with Aramco’s investment strategy and financial objectives.
• Represent Aramco in JV Board, Shareholder, and Steering Committee forums.
• Ensure JV strategy aligns with Aramco’s business plans and shareholder interests.
• Lead financial modeling and scenario analysis for transactions and JV evaluations.
• Oversee JV financial performance, capex, and budget alignment.
• Conduct benchmarking to identify value capture opportunities in JVs.
• Identify and assess JV growth opportunities aligned with downstream strategy.
• Facilitate transaction execution including due diligence, business case, valuation modeling, and partner negotiations.
• Draft and negotiate commercial terms of Shareholder Agreements, Offtake, Feedstock, and Services Agreements with legal/technical teams.
• Build and sustain relationships with JV partners and management.
• Mentor junior professionals in the WRFD department.
• Contribute to internal knowledge management and process improvements.
