Job summary

Aramco seeks an experienced Senior Counsel to join the Joint Venture Development Legal Practice within the Law Organization. The role focuses on structuring, negotiating, and documenting Joint Ventures and related financing transactions, across international contexts.

The ideal candidate has a JD, bar admission, at least 7 years in project development, and proven ability to lead transactions from inception to completion within the oil & gas, refining, chemicals, or energy sectors.

Qualifications

Must have JD or equivalent.
Current admission to general practice before the highest court.
Minimum 7 years in a project development practice.
Experience with international project development and joint venture transactions.
Proven client-facing experience from inception to completion.
Experience structuring, drafting, negotiating, and leading transactions.

Responsibilities

Lead legal activities in financing transactions (parent debt, JV project financings, capital markets).
Advise Management on legal rights and obligations in financing matters.
Assist Law Management and other attorneys in identifying legal issues.
Liaise with outside counsel to negotiate and document transactions.
