Job summary

Renardet SA & Partners in Oman seeks an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to lead design and advisory work on complex ground-related projects. The role requires deep knowledge of foundation design, slope stability, and interpretation of site investigations, with a strong emphasis on reporting and independent analysis.

The candidate should have at least 10 years in geotechnical engineering, be familiar with Omani standards and FIDIC, and proficient with Rocscience software or equivalent tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; Oman-equivalency required by the ministry.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional geotechnical experience.
• Membership with the Oman Society of Engineers is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Oman standards and FIDIC Conditions of Contract.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Training experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Interpret ground investigations and develop design parameters.
• Design shallow and pile foundations with bearing capacity assessment.
• Assess soil and rock slope stability and retaining structures.
• Prepare technical reports and design recommendations.
• Work with a team of engineers and provide technical guidance.
