Job summary

Experience is seeking an senior geoscientist to lead geological interpretation for development projects in Oman. You will integrate exploration and development activities, supervise junior engineers, and ensure safe, high-quality subsurface deliverables across reservoirs and fluids.

Expected to drive 3D modelling, data integration, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. The role requires strong leadership, extensive Petrel, TNavigator, and ArcGIS use, and exceptional English communication.

Qualifications

• BS in Geology or related science; MSc desirable.
• Excellent written and spoken English required.
• 8+ years of geology/subsurface experience with leadership in studies and projects.
• Broad geoscience knowledge across geophysics and geology.
• Strong experience in exploration and development upstream oil and gas activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide robust geological judgement for development projects.
• Provide geological expertise and innovative solutions for geology processes.
• Represent the company at partner interface meetings and Technical Committee Meetings.
• Deliver pre-defined geological elements of development projects.
• Provide simulations and field-optimum development concepts and recommendations.
• Ensure uncertainties and risks are incorporated into forward plans and reserves estimates.
• Coordinate subsurface data gathering, logging, and coring.
• Prepare subsurface interpretations including maps and cross-sections.
