Job summary

NTG is seeking a Senior Flowable Developer to work on-site in Muscat. You will design and build automated processes that power government services using Flowable.

The ideal candidate has direct experience with Flowable BPMN, CMMN, and DMN, along with strong Java development skills. The role involves creating user-friendly process models and integrating AI agents into workflows. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Build the long running, cross system processes a government runs on with Flowable, from BPMN orchestration, CMMN cases, to DMN decisions, increasingly with AI agents in the loop.

We are hiring a Senior Flowable Developer, on site in Muscat, to design and build the process, case, and decision automation an institution runs on.

What you'll do:

Model and build the processes, cases, and decisions that cross people and systems, on Flowable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build long running business processes on Flowable using BPMN orchestration
• Model unstructured, human driven work with CMMN case management
• Externalize business rules as governed, auditable DMN decision tables and services
• Extend Flowable with Java, REST APIs, custom service tasks, listeners, and event handling
• Orchestrate across multiple systems with compensation, timers, retries, and a single audit trail
• Build human task flows: forms, assignment, escalation, delegation, and deadlines
• Bring AI agents into processes where they help, with human in the loop and clear guardrails
• Tune Flowable for performance on a multitenant platform, set patterns, and mentor the team

• You have shipped real, long running, stateful Flowable solutions in production, not happy path demos
• You are hands on with the Flowable engine: BPMN, CMMN, and DMN, and you know when to use which
• You are a strong Java developer, comfortable extending Flowable with custom logic and APIs
• You design for the messy middle: exceptions, compensation, human tasks, and audit
• You can tell orchestration from integration, and architect each one correctly
• You are interested in agentic and AI assisted orchestration, and pragmatic about where it fits
• You hold a Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• You write process models a business analyst can read and an auditor can trust
• Bonus points for regulated, government, or case management heavy domains
• Fluent English required; Arabic is a valuable advantage
