Job summary

gu-recruitment is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical governance, grid integration, and commissioning for utility-scale renewable energy projects, including Wind, Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role targets Owner, Owner’s Engineer or Electrical Technical Authority functions on projects typically above 200 MW.

You will define and enforce owner electrical standards, review EPC and OEM designs, oversee MV/HV substations, coordinate grid code compliance,

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in electrical engineering in power generation or renewables.
• 7–10 years on Wind, Solar PV, or BESS projects.
• Experience on projects >200 MW.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• English proficiency B2–C1.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce owner electrical standards.
• Review EPC and OEM electrical designs.
• Oversee MV/HV systems and substations.
• Lead grid connection activities and grid code compliance.
• Support construction, commissioning, and COD achievement.
