Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Wind & HV Substation) to oversee the electrical engineering design governance for utility-scale wind projects. This key Head Office position will act as Owner or Electrical Technical Authority throughout all project phases.

The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on wind energy, including HV substation construction. Candidates should be able to manage electrical interfaces and support procurement activities.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in electrical engineering within power generation or renewable energy.
• 7-10 years of hands-on experience in wind energy projects above 200 MW.
• Experience in primary HV substation design and construction (132 kV or above).

Responsibilities

• Act as electrical design authority for wind power projects.
• Review and approve technical specifications for HV equipment and systems.
• Support procurement of electrical equipment and construction activities.
