Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for utility-scale projects. This role involves acting as the Owner’s Engineer and providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering, particularly with large-scale solar PV and hybrid systems. Responsibilities include managing electrical design, grid connection activities, and supporting procurement processes.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of professional experience in electrical engineering within power generation or renewable energy.
• 7-10 years of hands-on experience in Solar PV projects above 200 MW.
• Experience as Owner’s Engineer or Electrical Technical Authority is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as electrical design authority and technical lead for solar PV and BESS projects.
• Define and maintain Owner electrical standards and design criteria.
• Lead grid connection activities and manage electrical interfaces.
