Job summary

Worley in Oman seeks a Senior Cost Engineer to drive cost control, forecasting, and budgeting across large-scale projects. You will lead cost engineers and support teams in developing WBS/CBS structures, perform FAC analyses, and ensure robust cost reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure or Industrial sectors.
• Minimum 4 years in lead/supervisory role managing Cost Engineers or Project Controls staff.
• Minimum 5 years in Brownfield project delivery environments.
• Proven experience in cost control, forecasting, scheduling, risk management.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate cost forecasts to Project Management and stakeholders.
• Support decision-making with cost analysis and corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly cost management reports.
• Monitor project costs and ensure effective budget control.
• Develop and maintain cost control systems, processes, and reporting.
• Promote cost-conscious culture across project teams.
