Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst in Muscat to lead cost control and forecasting for major projects. You will develop WBS/CBS structures, manage budgets, and deliver FAC assessments while driving cost reporting and risk analysis across multi-disciplinary teams.

You will interface with project teams to deliver accurate forecasts, manage changes, and promote cost-conscious practices. A strong background in EVM, budgeting and project controls is essential, with leadership experience in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Finance, Construction Management or related field.
• 8+ years in Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure or Industrial sectors.
• 4+ years leading Cost Engineers or Project Controls personnel.
• 5+ years Brownfield project delivery experience.
• Proven experience in cost control, cost estimating, scheduling, forecasting and risk management.
• Experience in EVM, cost forecasting and contingency management.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate cost forecasts to Project Management and stakeholders based on scope, budgets, commitments and actual expenditures.
• Support decision-making with cost analysis, forecasting and corrective action recommendations.
• Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly cost management reports per procedures.
• Monitor costs, commitments and expenditures for budget control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain robust cost control systems, processes and reporting mechanisms.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within Project Controls.
