Job summary

OmanYP is seeking a Senior Contracts Leader to drive contractual excellence across its real estate and infrastructure portfolio in Oman. You will lead the contracts function, shape strategies, negotiate with contractors, and ensure robust risk protection throughout delivery.

The role requires a track record in large-scale contract management, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate across project, legal, procurement and commercial teams to deliver compliant, successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in contract management for large-scale real estate or infrastructure projects.
• Experience drafting, negotiating and administering complex contracts.
• Leads and mentors contracts teams, with effective stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the contracts function across multiple development and construction projects.
• Develop and implement contract management strategies to protect commercial interests.
• Lead negotiations with contractors, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Review, draft and amend contracts to ensure risk allocation and protections.
• Advise senior leadership on contractual matters and risk exposures.
• Oversee claims management and dispute avoidance across the portfolio.
• Support procurement and tendering teams during contractor selection and awards.
• Ensure contract administration is effective post-award and during execution.
• Lead, mentor and develop a contracts team, promoting best practice.
• Collaborate with project, legal, procurement and commercial teams for compliance.
