Job summary

OmanYP is seeking a senior development leader to drive residential and mixed-use projects from concept through delivery across Oman. You will identify market opportunities, feasilibity, and develop strategies in collaboration with finance and design teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating consultants, managing planning approvals, and monitoring budgets and milestones. Oman experience is preferred; GCC exposure and strong stakeholder management are essential for success in a lean,

Qualifications

• Experience leading front-end development of residential or mixed-use projects from concept through delivery.
• Strong understanding of development financials and ability to work with financial modelling and investment teams.
• Experience coordinating consultants, design teams and stakeholders throughout the development process.
• Solid knowledge of planning approvals, development regulations and project delivery principles.
• Omani experience preferred but GCC exposure is essential.
• Arabic language skills would be advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
• Proactive, hands-on development professional in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential and mixed-use development projects from concept through handover.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify product opportunities and market demand.
• Support feasibility assessments, business cases and development strategies.
• Work with finance teams to develop and challenge financial models and project assumptions.
• Create commercially viable residential concepts aligned with customer demand and company objectives.
• Coordinate architects, planners, engineers and consultants throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with design managers to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Lead planning, land-use and building approval processes with authorities.
• Monitor budgets, timelines, risks and key development milestones.
• Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, sales teams and other stakeholders.
• Review development proposals and provide executive-level recommendations.
