Job summary

Wow Jobs (Wow Softech Pvt. Ltd) in Oman seeks a Senior Commercial & Contracts Manager to lead commercial management for major construction projects. You will oversee contracts, subcontracts, variations and final accounts, driving cost control and KPIs across project teams.

Requirements include 15+ years total experience with 5+ years in a leadership role, strong FIDIC/Oman CoC knowledge, and a bachelor’s degree in a built-environment discipline. Advanced certificates are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall experience with at least 5 years in a Commercial & Contracts Manager role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in commercial management, contracts administration, cost control and subcontracts.
• Good understanding of FIDIC contracts and Oman CoC requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in a built-environment discipline; advanced certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial and contracts management for assigned projects, ensuring cost control.
• Review project reports, track performance and advise on corrective actions.
• Oversee subcontracting activities from scope to awards and terms.
• Review bonds, guarantees and insurance for contractual compliance.
• Handle contractual correspondence, notices, claims, variations and extensions of time.
• Support teams on obligations, risks and cost/time implications.
• Manage final accounts and resolve outstanding commercial matters.
• Ensure proper project closure with required documentation.
• Drive commercial KPIs and financial objectives, visiting sites regularly.
