Job summary

Airswift in Oman seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager to drive delivery of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects from development through operation. You will coordinate engineers, consultants, lenders, EPCs, utilities and regulators to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective project execution.

The role requires hands-on technical leadership, strong modeling, and finance skills, with travel within Oman and GCC as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• Master’s or MBA is a plus.
• +8 years in renewable energy project development including solar PV and BESS.
• Experience reviewing PPAs, LTAs, and EPC contracts.
• Proficient in PVsyst, ETAP, PSSE or similar tools.
• Excellent English communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead feasibility assessments for solar PV projects and optimize layouts.
• Manage design leads across the project portfolio.
• Calculate BESS sizing: storage capacity, C-rate, and dispatch.
• Coordinate with consultants on yield simulations and grid analysis.
• Prepare technical due diligence reports and optimal system configurations.
• Develop preliminary project financial models (IRR, NPV, DSCR, LCOE/LCOS).
• Review PPAs' technical provisions and LTAs, and support EPC contracts.
• Monitor timelines, risks, and deliverables; report to stakeholders.
• Serve as Design Authority from concept to construction.
