Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment seeks an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects in Oman from development through financial close, construction and commissioning. You will coordinate engineering consultants, Owners Engineer, lenders advisor, EPCs, utilities and regulators to ensure delivery on time and within budget.

This role combines strong engineering knowledge with project management, including PV/BESS sizing, technical due diligence and rigorous

Qualifications

Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy or related field; MBA is a plus.
5–8 years of renewable energy project development experience across the full development cycle.
Hands-on experience reviewing and negotiating PPAs, LTAs, and EPC contracts.
Proficiency with PVsyst, WindPro, ETAP or similar modelling software.
Fluency in English and strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead feasibility assessments for solar PV projects, including site screening and layout optimization.
Coordinate with engineering consultants and stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are met.
Develop and maintain preliminary project models: IRR, NPV, DSCR, LCOE/LCOS for decision making.
Review technical provisions of PPAs, LTAs and EPC contracts and flag risks.
Support RFPs and EPC tender packages with technical inputs and bid evaluations.
Monitor development timelines and report progress to investors.
