Job summary

Baker Hughes in Oman is seeking a Services Specialist General Operations and Support to optimize drilling services activities. You will coordinate resources, lead daily operations, and develop production plans while ensuring smooth shift-to-shift transitions within a framework of predefined guidelines.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or a high school diploma with at least four years in services, with experience handling radioactive sources preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services).
• Experience handling Radioactive Sources; Baker Hughes experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating resources to achieve goals with a timely and cost-effective strategy
• Lead and assist in daily operations
• Develop coordinate lead and execute daily production plans and coordinate consistent and effective shift-to-shift transition
• Developing and implementing process controls
• Supporting operations leader in the strategic planning of manpower equipment and other resources
• Working together with people from the business unit
• Contacts are under guidance and or geared towards collecting or giving technical information
• Handling simple project processes
• There are detailed guidelines for production and or simple human interfaces requiring little technical knowledge
• A framework of conditions is set
• Handling targeted clients
• Contracts are predefined and a framework of conditions is set and followed

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college

High school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services
