Lucid Motors in Oman is seeking a Sr. Engineer, Body Structures to lead validation of manufacturing assembly processes, act as the engineering contact for body structures, and ensure design requirements are met on the production line.

The position requires a BS or MS in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering with 5+ years in design and release, Six Sigma certification, experience with stampings/castings/extrusions, GD&T, and the ability to drive issues from concept through production; occasional

Competenze

• BS or MS in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering with 5+ years automotive design experience.
• Professional Six Sigma certification (Black Belt or Green Belt).
• Experience with stampings, castings, extrusions; Class A panels a bonus.
• Ability to prioritize in high-pressure environments and apply first principles.
• Design release engineering including change management and project management.

Mansioni

• Own body structures assembly; solve complex problems to find root cause and containment.
• Assess manufacturing processes to ensure body structure design requirements on production lines.
• Support new product launches and part concessions for Body Structures.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing for process sequence and build quality.
• Coordinate virtual engineering and physical validation testing; travel as required.
• Collaborate with Safety, NVH, Durability and Design, plus Purchasing and Suppliers.
